In 1982, Judd Jacobson decided to start a company that would help people who were physically challenged cope with the architectural barricades that confronted them everyday.

Judd knew something about those challenges because he had been in a wheelchair since a diving accident in his teens. Judd made it his life's work to open up the world to those who saw it from a different perspective. His company's name was Minnesota Home Elevator. The name of the company was changed to Tri State Lift in 1991 to fit its expanding product line and market area. For 20 years the company's name has meant quality product and service to those searching for accessibility products.

Tri State Lift is now owned by Carolyn and David Zvorak, and Shane and Laura Zvorak. Tri State Lift continues to be a family owned business and we are proud to continue to offer Judd's services to you.
